How it works

Is Knipsy really free?

Yes. Knipsy is published by Prosite Creation in partnership with the fiduciary KC Gest, free for companies and individuals: no subscription, no in-app purchase and no payment method to enter.

Is Knipsy also for individuals?

Yes: the personal space files your papers, tracks your bills, accounts and loans, and fills in your tax return in Luxembourg, Belgium or France, with the detail of the calculation.

How does pocket money work?

You create a wallet per child and give pocket money, once or every week or month. The child photographs their receipts and sees their balance; you also choose what they see of the cost of living.

Does my accountant see my children’s money and schedule?

No. The accountant follows your file, your papers and your returns; pocket money, the children’s receipts and the family schedule remain private to the household.

In which countries does Knipsy work?

In Luxembourg, Belgium and France. The chart of accounts (PCN, PCMN or PCG), the VAT rates and the calendar of returns follow the country of the company’s registered office.

Does Knipsy file the returns for me?

No: Knipsy prepares each return and its official file, then reminds you of the deadline. Filing is done on the official portal (eCDF, Intervat, impots.gouv.fr), with your own access.

Do I still need an accountant?

Knipsy keeps the day-to-day accounts and prepares exports in accountants’ formats (FAIA, FEC, IGE-Compta, Sage BOB, Odoo, Excel, PDF). Your accountant remains in charge of year-end work and advice.

How do I open an account?

Company: the identifier, the registered office address, the IBAN and the manager’s identity card, then the contract signed online. Individual: your identity, your address and your identity card. Invited by your company or your family: the code received by email. Your accountant verifies the identity and opens the space.

Where is the mobile app?

It is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. In the meantime, the customer area works in the browser, on a computer as well as on a phone, with the same account.

What happens to my data?

It remains yours, hosted in the European Union. You can export it at any time and delete the account; the documents the law requires to be kept are retained for your company for the legal period.
