The firm corrects everything, email drop-off recognises the file

In the firm’s space, “Correct” opens the document in the full screen: merchant, date, totals, VAT, lines and breakdown can be changed before validating.
Email drop-off: each file has its own address depot-code@knipsy.lu; a message sent to depot@knipsy.lu without a code is attached according to the sender, otherwise according to the VAT number read on the invoice, with a “check the origin” notice.
Tobacco and alcohol: tobacco items go to private expenses (owner’s current account), never to expenses; alcohol outside hospitality is flagged.
Each merchant’s landmarks (where the date, the total and the VAT are located) are learnt at each validation and guide the next reading.

One upload, several documents: each invoice gets its own pages back

One PDF with several invoices in a row, several PDFs or several photos of different receipts: Knipsy recognises each document, keeps only its own pages and says what it is (invoice, credit note, receipt).
The documents of one upload are read one after the other, “Reading 2/12”, up to “Done”: each one then opens for checking.
An unlikely date (in the future or outside the financial year) becomes “to confirm”: it is never validated silently.
When a known merchant, the text read and the rules all match to the cent, the document is read in one or two seconds, without calling on the reading services.

One receipt, several accounts; letters from the administrations filed by themselves

A receipt mixing office supplies, cleaning, entertaining or phone is split across several accounts: Knipsy proposes the parts from the items, you adjust them, each part goes to its own account.
Letters from the Joint Social Security Centre, the Direct Tax Administration and the Registration Administration are recognised when scanned: Knipsy says so, then files them in the vault (CCSS or Administrative folder) with the amount due and the deadline.
Even safer document reading: a new reference reader reads every document, the others double-check it, and nothing is made up.
Knipsy moves to its new address, knipsy.lu: the app, email drop-off (depot@knipsy.lu) and your links follow, nothing to change on your side.
The widget offers itself right after sign-in, with the how-to in the menu.

A widget, “To watch” and a glass bar

Knipsy widget on the iPhone Home Screen and Lock Screen: money in the bank, what is due in and out, the next deadline, unread messages and documents to check. Tapping a line opens the right screen.
“To watch”: Knipsy warns you before it costs you. An IBAN that changes on an invoice, an invoice recorded or paid twice, a missing receipt, a signed quote never invoiced, an incomplete purchase invoice, a quote sold at a loss.
Your week in brief, every Monday: money in the bank, what comes in, what goes out, the deadlines and the three things to do first.
The thresholds that change everything: VAT exemption, filing frequency, micro-enterprise ceiling, Intrastat. Knipsy tells you when you get close.
Customers and suppliers watched at the register: reorganisation or liquidation with the deadline to file your claim, company ceased, VAT number no longer recognised, change of address.
Also: foreign VAT to recover, subscriptions that go up or are billed twice, what changes in the law and what it costs you.

Five languages, a piano at launch, an app that comes alive

Knipsy speaks five languages: French, English, German, Luxembourgish and Serbian. The language follows that of the phone and can be changed in the profile (“Language”).
New opening sound, played on the piano.
A living app: at launch the data flies from the receipt to its line, the login and then the app open from the button you touched, the large home card arrives in depth and recedes when you scroll, the amounts roll, the charts rise, the badges bounce.
Deleting a document already archived in the vault: the app asks for the reason then deletes it, like the site.
Invoices: only the last of the series can be deleted; an invoice followed by another is cancelled by a credit note, so as to leave no gap in the numbering.
Turnover and balance by customer: invoices created in Odoo count there.
IGE-Compta: the last purchase and sales numbers are announced to the accountant before the import, the file’s VAT codes are set in the app.
Readability: stronger contrasts, main action always under the thumb in the sales forms, “⋯” on each purchase and receipt line, fields that light up while typing.

Your Odoo invoices in Sales, deletion clearly visible

Sales: invoices created in Odoo are shown there, with their number, the total excluding VAT and the amount still to collect; a tap opens them in Odoo.
“Delete permanently” at the bottom of each record (invoice, receipt, purchase, quote) and in the list menus, with confirmation and reason; when deletion is impossible, the app says why.
VAT: “Not liable for VAT” is chosen in the same place as the filing frequency, and the question is asked once at login as long as it has no answer.
Z receipts: they go to Odoo by themselves on validation when automatic sending is on.

A livelier app, the month’s payroll and Odoo in both directions

A livelier app: the page moves back when a sheet comes up, messages drop down as a capsule from the top of the screen, the bottom bar hints at what scrolls beneath it, launch and sign-in are animated.
Payroll of the month: calendar per employee, leave counters, calculation from gross to net, payslip as PDF, sending to the accountant, SEPA transfer of salaries, “My payslips” for each employee.
Odoo in both directions: invoices and credit notes created in Odoo can be seen in Knipsy (“In Odoo”), and your validated documents can go to Odoo on their own.
Invoices: complete record, “Create” or “Create and send”.
Personal space: spouse invited, access requests to the firm; help is now in every space.
Firm: production board, batch export, matching, miscellaneous entries, balance review, engagement letter signed by the client, fees.

Turnover, balances, Wero and permanent deletion

Knipsy recognises on its own a SALES invoice issued by your company, and reads the IBAN, the BIC, the transfer reference and the due date of your suppliers. An IBAN is never again mistaken for a VAT number.
Sales: quotes signed online by the customer, deposit and balance invoices, recurring invoices, sending by email and payment QR code.

Returns, payroll, three countries

Mark a return as filed and attach the acknowledgement: it is filed in the binder on its own.
